[s-cars] Spark Plugs - loose

Recent history with my 95.5 S6 spark plugs:
22 f-lbf. They were loose the next day.
25 f-lbf. They were loose the next week
1 April 2003: 30 f-lbf. They didn't get mushy on torquing, and the plugs
were still tight last week.

I don't like the idea of going so far over a spec like that, but I really
hate the idea of spark plugs blowing free.

mine for 8000 km (5000 miles) and they were all loose, two very much so. A
couple of questions:
> 1. The factory torque recommendation is 22 ft. lb. I torqued mine to
25 this time. Do any of you go higher?
> 2. I had a fair amount of oil blow by in a couple of the spark plug
holes. I can understand a bit but should I be concerned? How much should I
expect? I will do a compression check next.
