Borbets can be pretty soft.

I drove 225/50 FZ4s for a while. Completely non-descript tire, lousy in
snow.

Right. You won't see tramlining with a 205, generally.

I ran a set of 245/45 16" Toyo T1S tires last year. Very good handling
summer tire, excellent ride, not harsh or stiff at all. You'll be much
happier with these than the FZ4s. I don't know anything about the TPT.

They, along with most wider tires, will tramline.

Oh, and btw, a 255/50 may run on on your RF inner fender lining.
