Ok list gods,
Got a stumper for you, new motor (block, rods,
pistons, rings, crank, and head)EVERYTHING. Problem,
3,000 miles on motor and I check my airbox to turbo
hose, oil in it, turbo to IC hose (I have a front
mount IC), oil in it, IC to throttle body, oil in it.
Fast forward, pull turbo, send back to mfr, turbo ok.
Clean all lines and IC, reinstall turbo and everything
else except I plug the valve cover to turbo hose, at
the turbo hose and put a mini K&N on the valve cover.
Plug the check valve (both top and bottom) under the
IM. Go for drive, get on fway and exceed the maximum
speed limit by several and boosting only 20 lbs, pull
off fway, oil all over turbo side of motor. Appears
that oil is coming through the breather system.

Ok, I know that some of you listers are running some
sort of oil separator and some of you high horsepower
boys aren't. So, the question remains, is this issue
an anomaly in highly tuned 20v turbo motors, that some
do and some don't. Am I missing something????

I really want to solve this problem, so I would
appreciate any and all comments. If you don't want to
respond on list then by all means contact me off list.

Thanks in advance and "May the rings be with you"
