Hello Adrian,

I can't offer any help, but I do have a question. What tool did you
purchase - was it the long straight-edge that allows you to check/adjust the
positioning of the central bearing carrier? I'm trying to work out what
specialist tools I'll need to maintain my S6. So far, all I've got is the
Bentley on CD-ROM, the VAG-COM computer diagnostic tool and the 2084
crank-locking tool I used on my old 80q and 100 Avant - the 2084 is not
actually the correct tool for AAN engines, but one lister assured me he used
it with no problems.
