Adrian,

Make sure she has a BMW test drive when it is raining. In UK, you should
not wait very long ! ! !
Last time my wife was a passenger of a Renault, she was scared and
prefered the S6 Plus ! ! !

Regards,
Frederic

Tell me about it... :-(

I just test-drove an E36 328i coupe - just where the S4 or urQ are about
to take off the BMW ran out of steam. Hopeless. And the build quality
felt much less substantial than Audi. Even Helen (who isn't even aware
of things like Diff Locks) remarked that it felt less stable in bends
tan the quattros. So I think I've knocked that notion on the head.

I think the M-series are probably OK, but you pay a lot for the
privilege, in terms of maintenance and insurance.

Adrian
