[s-cars] Brake Options?

I'm wondering if the 993TT/996TT brakes are beneficial to cars that aren't
tracked at all, but driven hard on a daily basis.

I guess what I'm looking for, is a system that is competent during road trips,
which would be, for me at least, 4-5 hours through desert conditions. I just
changed my brake fluid, so I'm hoping I never have to experience the "pedal to
the floor without any noticeable slowing down" feeling.

If I were to upgrade to stainless steel brake lines, ATE Powerdiscs, and HAWK
brake pads, would I notice anything in terms of Brake Fade and stopping
distance?

What are some options that will allow me to stop in a shorter distance, while
not building up too much detrimental heat? My dream is to go BIRA Stg. 6, but
if I can get away with upgrading the rotors/pads/lines, as well as going with a

sticker tire that'll give me a comparable non-track characteristic as Big Reds,

then I'm all for that.

SO I guess to sum it all up, how do upgrade G60s compare to the Big Reds?
Anyone have experience with Wilwoods? Alcons?

Thanks,
Paul
