Yup, been there, done that. You do have an alternative choice that was recommended to me by Tom Saltino:
"purchase a "T" junction from your local parts store and grab a vacuum line coming from rear of the intake manifold. I think I teed mine into the same line that gives the ECU intake manifold pressure. Zip tie the new line along the fuel rail towards the front of the intake. Use a small piece of rubber vacuum line to attach the plastic line to the existing metal line that runs to the dump valve."
I took a small brass screw with some loctite and plugged up the old hole, works like a charm !

off of the intake? If so how did you go about
repairing it? I'm planning on pulling the intake and
