I was wondering if any one can help me with a problem I am experiencing with my '96' Audi S2.  I am getting a smell of petrol when driving the car, I have checked for leaks but I can't see any.  When I get to 3000rpm the turbo should come in.  The problem is that there seems to be 'flat spots' with no power then suddenly the car takes off and normal service is resumed.  This makes me think that the problem is a sticky valve or something.  Has anyone got any idea's?
