[s-cars] Speaking of manuals... NAC

This talk of manuals brings up another NAC question.

Can anyone point me to a source for manuals, specifically a service manual, 
for a Mercedes SLK 320.  Even a listing of required/recommended services 
and intervals would be of help.  Apparently Mercedes regards this 
information as proprietary and beyond the ability of their customers to 
understand.  This is my son's car and he has been unable even to get his 
dealership to tell him what the maintenance service include much less to 
provide him with something in print.
