[s-cars] POS of a different model

Oh yeah ... I forgot to mention that I ruled out coil by swapping with
cylinder one (nice feature having a connector at the coil) and installed
a new plug too, with no change in result.
We need to test wires from ecu to pos and then pos to coil and swap some
injectors too.
I/we could just be in denial of a bad ECU, but rightfully so;)
Wish there was one to swap and try it. But what are the chances of a
97, 3.7 ltr ecu lyin around?
Thanks much!
Bill m

So a 3.2L, A8 friend has developed a misfire in cylinder two shortly
after getting the car back from a little fender bender. (not that that
means anything.)
So he came over yesterday and yes the 3.2 had two stinkin POS's and I am
sure that one of them is NG causing the misfire. But no, swapping them
still left the misfire in cylinder two.
Would anyone know if it may be correct to assume that if the injector
checks out and the wiring checks out that the ecu is then the only
suspect left??
TIA
Bill m -thinking that maybe I recommend that he paint the car red;)
