[s-cars] Bose Woes

Hello all,

I've got the car at a high end audio place to get rid of some alternator 
interference, now I've got more problems...  Alpine deck, factory front with 
rears disconnected. Alpine amp and 10" tube in trunk. Front speakers are 
being driven by the front factory amp.

Here's the problem. for some reaon I am getting a popping niose when the 
volume is turned on, track is changed, station is changed, powered on. 
Popping comes from front speakers. This could be remedied if we replaced the 
front speakers, but the size is odd- somewhere inbetween a 4" and 4.5" (Euro 
size?). Aside from hacking up the door and doing a custom install I'm out of 
ideas. Unfortunately so is my  installer.

Ideas?
