Richard: If your "Canadian Spec"  "93"  has "quattro" in the rear
defroster wires, it probably came with the elm-wood trim and somebody
had it refinished. If there isn't "quattro" in the rear window, then it
is a real 93 and somebody may have hated the OEM carbon fibre.

Not that you couldn't be right - it is just that there is no previous
documentation that this was an "option".  There are exceptions, i.e.
Euro-spec cloth interior in an S4 or S6 that was for sale in Toronto a
year or so ago.  It could be a "Hans and Claus" parts bin special.
