Scott - that's fantastic. Now I wish I'd not touched the lamp I put in the
ambient temp display. I never realised it was such a problem. With those
lamps you used in the mirror control, does the unit still light up red or is
it white now?

The headlamp adjustment I refer to is fitted standard on cars with the Audi
OEM detachable tow hitch - a quite brilliantly engineered thing which is
apparently pretty rare over your side. The adjustment is a roller switch
which ensure your headlamps don't dazzle oncomers if the car is driven
"tail-down" with a trailer.
