OK, so I am holding in my hot little hands the Audi X-plug and O-ring (Audi
pn 026 145 541, $6.53 from Clairparts), as well as the NAPA drag link socket
(NAPA pn NB-95, $6.77), and am ready to do the dirty deed. The question is,
how to tighten the X-plug?

Bentley either makes no mention of it, or requires a secret handshake with
which I'm unfamiliar, since I can find no mention of the X-plug installation
procedure. I'm fairly certain a thorough cleaning is in order before I
remove the old one. With it out, I can start the new one by hand, but how
tight to make it?

Should I use an impact driver, or a torque wrench, and if a torque wrench,
how tight to make it?
