Hi Y'all,

Re: the subject line- Down, Paul!

A while back - like perhaps 4 or 5 years ago - there was a discussion of
clear bras for Audis. As I recall, there were two commonly used
materials. One is from Stongard and the other from 3M.

Since I will soon be driving (I hope) an urS6 with freshly painted front
end parts, bumper cover, hood, front fender, etc. and the present severe
case of road rash will be cured, for a while at least, I'd kinda like to
keep it looking more or less that way for a while longer than the single
weekend such fresh paint would normally last here on our DOH supplied
gritty highways of southern WV.

Any BTDT's with either of these materials used for both headlights and for
leading edges where road rash develops so quickly?

Recommendations? Techniques? Cautions? Suggestions? Advice? Other?

The headlite cover thread caused me to think of these questions - that plus
the coming fresh paint job.
