For those of you who may be interested...

I got some parts together today.
    1 oil pressure gauge
    1 Audi 200 secondary cluster pc board.

Based on the 200 board, which should be very close to the S6 board with the
voltmeter, it will be VERY simple to use an oil pressure gauge as a boost
gauge.
I have recalibrated my new oil pressure gauge to respond to the speced
10 -180 ohm VDO style 0-30 psi sender (about 35 US ). A simple resistance
change on the back was all that was required to deflect 180 as full scale.

The gauge is still not a FAST response, it's slightly weighted. Not a big
deal in my books.
The mods to the pc board are simple, and easily reversible... !!!
The OEM pressure gauge was 113 CAD that's it.
I got mine used, for about 50 CAD.
The hardest part of the whole thing will be getting the new face... But I am
on that.
I am waiting on a sender, then I will detail an install for those
interested.
