U-Haul has frame mounted hitch assemblies.  I installed on on my
'86 5kCSTQ, and another on my '93 V8 Quattro.  One will surely
fit on the UrS4/S6 cars.

They are not cheap, but they work well.  Having the Dodge diesel,
I don't need one on my S6.
