Very interesting. That makes about four with mintex reds that don't squeal without cad-plating and five that squeal really bad with the cad plating. Almost makes me want to try a fresh set of the same red-box pads now that the plating is worn off of my rotors. That would indicate that the plating is causing the squeal. Is it possible for the pads to be contaminated like this?

PS I also had EBC greenstuff low-squeal pads on stock cad-plated rotors. They squealed like crazy.
