agree, note, though, that these wheels were standard in '92, and became
optional on the later cars.  there were also no-cost optional 15" wheels

on this, I (and I'm sure many others) disagree.  larger wheels/tires can
add significantly to driving performance, pleasure being a very subjective
quality.  and what's wrong with a nice looking set of wheels?

for most big-brake kits, you won't get stock wheels back on, so one must
come with the other.  That said #1, I agree brakes should be one of the
first performance mods you consider, then wheels & tires.  That said #2,
993tt big-reds on RS2 brake brackets over ur-S8 (euro)/A8L rotors (323x30)
fit under the urS4/6 5-spoke forged wheel using a 5mm spacer.
