You're probably right (about the weight issue), but I was bitten by the GTI=
bug a long time ago and never forgot the fun I had with that little bomb! =
and damn that 87 GTI was light. As a city car they are hard to beat, with A=
WD and a stronger engine it just sounds like fun all over again...
