I was at Napa Auto Parts the other day, doing some "shopping", and ran across
these socket adaptors...there are so many times I've thought about this tool,
almost even welded something up, but there it was, hanging on the masonite
peg board, waiting for me, metric size too!
Its a set of 3 Drive Tool Adaptors, quarter, 3/8 and half inch drivers with a
place for 10mm, 13mm, and 17mm wrench respectively. This is the kind of tool
that can help you get into a tight spot where a big, fat rachet head won't
fit, I'm looking forward to using these next time I have an unruly turbo
fastener. It was about $22 for all 3 pieces, features a nice o-ring to hold
the wrench tight, and a nice captive ball mechanism to hold the socket on,
and a button on top to release the socket for a very tight fit.
Oh ya, I own Napa Auto parts Inc, so beware...j/k, I don't own Napa, so you
can take this recommendation as safe, sage and non-manipulative, FWIW.
Anyway, just thought I'd share, pics below.
Happy "wrenching",
Javad
