For a good repair shop, try Auto Bon Imports, www.autobon.com, 14 Decatur
Street, Cambridge, MA, 02139, 617-864-1555. I have used these guys with
nothing but success, and they're an hour from me.

I suspect you want more of a tuner, someone willing to do a brake upgrade,
as opposed to a brake repair. The best tuner in the Northeast, perhaps the
US, by a wide margin, seems to be Tim McLean at Northern European
Automotive, www.northerneuropeanautomotive.com, 235 Rear South Main Street,
Unit 223, Concord, NH 03301, 603-228-0533. I haven't used these guys, but
have heard nothing but good things about them from a number of knowledgeable
Audi friends, including members of this list. They're a hike from Boston,
but worth it.

I would appreciate it if anyone can recommend a decent
audi mechanic in the Cambridge/Boston area, who has
experience with the ECS Stage II brake kit for the
UrS4/6. I plan to purchase a set the Stage II kit from
a fellow lister and will have them sent to the
Boston/Camb. area for pick up (i'm in Toronto Canada
and will be visiting a friend in mid-Feb). I would
like to have them mounted while I'm there (to avoid
customs/broker fees for shipping into Canada).

Alternatively, if any fellow listers in that area
would like to give me a hand and provide their
mechanical skills/tools/facilities, I'd be most
appreciative (free food and beer to boot). I plan to
be in the area on the weekend of Feb. 15-16.
