[s-cars] RE: VW/Audi ignition coils

A timely article. My parents are picking up a 2002 Passat today. I forwarded
a copy of the article to my dad, who asked the dealer to check into it. (He
wasn't sure whether the car had a V6 or 1.8t. Doh <grin>).

No word yet on what the dealer has done...but the owner of the dealership is
a personal friend of almost 30 years, so I think he'll take care of them :)

BTW, this is the first non-Volvo my parents have bought for their own use
since 1966...driven in part by the fact that their local dealership has
converted completely over from Volvos to VWs.
