[s-cars] Thirsty washers

Hi Dave;

I had this problem as well until I realized I was using my old "pulse the
washers to save fluid" technique learned on my '63 VW bug with the mini
washer bottle hooked up to the spare tire. When you do this, the headlight
washers activate each time and you go through fluid at a rather rapid rate.
I now hold the washers on - the headlight washers activate for a few seconds
and shut off while the windshield washers continue to spray. The fluid lasts
a lot longer.

I'm going through more washer fluid than I ever have. Getting to be an
annoyance. In my 98 A4, I had to hold the washer switch for 2 seconds before
my headlights would wash. Is such a washer relay possible on our cars?
thanks,
