You might ask your Dealer's service department, or check with your favorite
independent shop.  At one time Audi was operating (at least in the Denver
area) an "exchange" repair program for some of the Bose components.

You needed your core plus @ $100 for the refurbished part, if I recall
correctly.   I think I've had two head units & one front door speaker/amp
done this way, buts its been a couple of years ago now.
