[s-cars] Bose Front Speaker

Might also be a problem with wiring. The wiring loom lives a tough life as
it passes thru the grommet at the door opening, made worse by age. You might
pull back the boot at the front of the door, where the wires pass into the
body, and check for cracked insulation or a broken wire. That "pop" could
also be an intermittent connection, fairly easily solved by cutting out the
problem length and splicing back together. HTH.

Subject: [s-cars] Bose Front Speaker

Good evening,
Driver side Bose front door speaker is not working until periodically I hear
a
pop and them it operates. Happens consistently and is getting worse.
Sounds like the Bose amp problem.
Any BTDT on repair? Do I need to get a new amp/front speaker? Any options
for
other speakers to use with the BOSE system? Time to record my old mono
albums
so I don't have to worry about stereo?
Thanks for any help.
