I would disagree with Bill here in regards to the placement of the newer
tires. I have done this several times over the years with different cars(numerous
BMWs, urquattro, and 2 weeks ago with urS4) and have always had the new tires
mounted in the front. That's where all the hard wear is going on plus with
this car's tendency to understeer, having more grip up front will help that issue
as well.
