I have a problem with the power locks in my father's '92 100. They
just don't work.. I have tried the pump/control unit in another car,
it worked just fine. The same unit controls the interior lights, which
work in the 100.. But the power lock pump never runs. I can try the
driver's door, passenger door or tailgate, but it doesn't work. I can
hear the microswitch in the locks click, I even tried jumpering a wire
in the connector to "simulate" locked or unlocked, still dead..
I don't think it's the fuse, as the interior lights work, and I don't
find anything in the fuse panel that mentions power locks. It's
definently not the pump/control unit, and given that a wire in the
connector won't work, it's not the locks either. I check the door jamb
wiring, and it looks ok on all doors..
Is there a hidden fuse anywhere that I haven't found? :-)
Any other things to check? It's not very funny to don't have power
locks when all 3 locks (driver, passenger & tailgate) needs different
keys..
