Glad to hear your project went well. I struggled with the pump mount
too, those fasteners can be difficult to access.
You will need a good quality anti-phosphate coolant like Pentosin,

Subject: [s-cars] Another Timing Belt Story
Well, i'm not done yet, but the hard part is over. I never got to the
crank seal, as it seemed like it was okay. Snug as a bug in a rug and no
leakage.
I think the worst part of doing the timing belt...is just getting to the
frickin nuts and bolts. The Crank Bolt? Not a problem. Disassembling the
Hydraulic Pump mount, as well as moving the alternator to the side?
Yeah...that just about took me the longest to get to. Putting the car
back together took a long time too:)
All I need to do now, is flush the old coolant (when the writeup on
UrS4.com says some leakage...they mean a LOT of leakage) and replace the
bumper.
I know that this is going to be vague, but I bumped into the headlight,
and one of these ramp like looking plastic piece fell off. I went to go
to the other side to check what had just come off, and the same piece
fell off for that side too!. I wish I had a digital camera, and I might
just nab one for tomorrow.
Finally, what coolant do I need? Prestone won't do, or so i've heard.
Thanks,
Paul
