Two more solutions:
a) Wurth anti-squeal spray
b) Porsche anti-squeal shims (trim to fit your pads)
both are available from Pelican Parts (www.pelicanparts.com)
I've got Mintex Reds and have had Porterfields on both the stock
and also the 993TT caliper/rotor setup. Both squeal at first.
Once you break them in properly, the squeal pretty much goes away.
