Kirby:  As per others, e.g. Fred Munro, who responded to your "Audi
gods" suggestion, it may have been more like  Hans unt Claus oder dem
kleiner monkey herren die O-ring vergessen.   There is supposed to be an
O-ring like (rectangular shape but round profile) gasket that sits in
the grove along the inner edge of the coil pack.  With this gasket
installed correctly, the four hex socket bolts a should be snugged down
to make a fairly water tight seal which will keep water and moisture
away from the coils, the connectors and the plugs.  Don't blame the Audi
gods on this one, they'll get you for it.
