It might be a nice data point to have Mihnea, but from what I've seen on the
list, as you suggest, precious few, if any here can give you an EGT figure
for what their cars are running. And for the few that could, I bet I don't
know what the measurement would tell you unless you had some idea where the
probe was located.
When I have seen an occasional thermocouple, its usually been installed
after the turbo, in the downpipe.
Are you in fact able to collect EGT temperatures for the cars you are
writing software for? If so, how close a control do you have over the
location of the probe taking the temperature(s)?
I'm still trying to get a better handle on what the air flow differences are
between the K26 compressor wheels and the various Garrett parts. You don't
know of any better compressor maps for the wheels other than those available
off SJM's site for the KKK parts, and the "rough" guestimates provided by
Turbonetics for their Garret wheels do you?
