"I'm going to go with coil packs again on this one too. It is interesting to
me that a lot of people are all of a sudden starting to have problems with
these. "

That said; for those who may have missed it late last month, I had les no.4
coil pack suddenly and swiftly go south as it shorted to ground, rendering miss
piggy unstartable by blowing the 15 amp fuse above the ecu. Had I been in
the 3rd lane at rush hour this would have been a 'real' bummer as it surely
would have either been 95o or hurricane weather.
Locally fellow lister Mr. Paul Gailus, an electrical engineer genius for the
past 135 years, was kind enough to swing buy and lend a hand in fixing this.
He was handsomly rewarded with the usual list fodder of beer and pizza;)
Paul's post detailing how to fuse each coil pack/ cylinder is worth a second
looksee for anyone not changing out all coil packs as it would permit one fuse
to blow but the car would still run on four cylinders.

Not wanting to live through this debacle again, I would be in for a coil GP
or will surely do this mod in the very near future. Not cheap but I bet we
could get them for 85 bucks or less. (and hell I only have four left to do;)
