Matt,
There are several power sources available under your dash on the left
of your steering column, at least one of which is turned on and off by
the ignition key. I used this as my power source for my Valentine One,
and it works great.
In order to provide good clean current for your amps/stereo I recommend
running a good positive lead directly from the battery and use a relay
controlled by the above described power source to turn your amps/stereo
on and off. Dont forget to hook the memory lead up to a unswitched
power source to keep your radio stations and clock in memory.
