[s-cars] RE: RW steer

I changed the tires yesterday, and the car now tracks true. Its amazing
how big a part tires actually do play in a vehicles performance. (I've
got a set of Firestone Firehawk SVX 225-50-16 that are going real
cheap....)

I tried to find play in bushings and links, but wasn't able to find
anything. Thanks for the ideas that helped eliminate the chassis.

regards....

I'm about to have all my rear bushing changed because I can feel the
effect in stability.

Inpecting them on a lift doesn't really show much; little tears in the
rubber maybe, a bit of play when pried with a BF prybar. I would say
yours are old enough. Expect a cost of 10 hours, directly or
indirectly.
