Does the starter engage? And no turn?
If you seem to have lost any coolant, pull all your plugs (at the same
time) and try to (hand) crank it. If it really is vaporlock, the engine
_should_ turn over.
Did the car run well until the incident? Check the timing belt through
the upper cover, and see if it's still in place. If something has
happened, like the woodruff key on the lower timing belt sprocket has
broken off or something, a piston may have jammed the engine when it hit
a couple of your valves..
Another approach is the other obvious thing, battery. Check the poles
and status of the battery, and measure the voltage drop between the +
pole in the engine bay and the battery. There are stories about a bad
wire splice near the passenger seat..
