[s-cars] LAC: Greenwich Concours d'Elegance

Hehe.. Well, the car was in fact a 'rental', even if the car rental
company was more of a sponsor.. They have all kinds of cars, from big
trailers to limousines, and of course, convertibles. The Smart haven't
got any Norwegian dealership, so I guess the only way to get to show the
new roadster on the show, (I think it was the first time it was shown in
norway) was to import one. (it was in fact a sports car event, and even
if the Smart has only about 80hp, it is definitely a sports car..)
But yes, to rent a car and then show it off in such an event is quite
funny! ;o)

Björn,
There was one pic that cracked me up. The sign on the car said "Bislet
Car
Rentals". I am sure it wasn't a rented car but it was sort of funny to
see
at a Concours d'Elegance :-)

Well, to do the craving for beautiful, rare cars even bigger, I send you
gentlemen the link to the homepage of the Norwegian sportscar club's
annual spring show. Everything is in Norwegian on the main site, so I
just let the pictures guide you..

This is the car in wich I attended, my 98% pristine '83 Celica Supra:

The only 'VAG' related cars attending, were a couple of Karmann-Ghias
and a 180hp TT. (And a _lot_ of Porsches and some lambos of course..)
Enjoy!
