As I recall from when I last tested mine, the cap relieves at around 17 psi so
the system pressure is somewhere below that. Unless you're overheating, the
coolant loop is going to run at whatever pressure it normally does. This is
mainly as a result of temperature, and the delta pressure from your pump isn't
going to increase. Sounds like you just need to tighten the hose clamp.
