Interesting... Doesn't the "kink" teach you that driving flat out without
realizing it's inherent danger (maybe the armco marks could be a clue) mean that
possibly it's one of the best lessons in driving at speed at Road America?
I ponder why SB can't seem to keep students from balling there. This isn't a
track problem IMO. Why? Simply put, the "kink" has been at RA forever, a
known entity. Current proracers speak of it with respect. Those wanting to
learn how to drive a street car on a race course should learn that too. Want a
"safer" venue so that your track record of street cars isn't "marred"?
Gingermann Raceway is a no brainer.
IMO, chicanes won't "solve" any problems, most likely create more. BTST
Formerly laughing at myself, currently without a clue, saddled up ready for
Mid Ohio School.

If you actually had a clue, you'd understand why the Skip Barber SCHOOL
wants to add a chicane at the kink, the kink in it's self doesn't teach you
anything. Since Skip Barber is interested in teaching students not having
them ball up a car it's a good idea.
Get off you high horse Scott, your not that wonderful.
