Hi Elijah;

You can probably change the valve seals without pulling the head, although
I've never done this on an Audi engine. I have a couple of adaptors knocking
around in my tool box that screw into the plug thread and let you put
compressed air into the cylinder. The idea is to remove the cam, pressurize
the cylinder with compressed air to hold the valves closed, and remove the
valve springs, giving you access to the valve seal. As I say, don't know how
it would work on an AAN, but it works a treat on the tractor engines in most
North American cars.

Yea, but everyone is pointing to the same things and I am just overwhelmed
right now that I have to go through all of this again. Do I have to take the
head off to change the valve seals? I still have no idea about the low oil
pressure.
I guess my main problem is that I spent more than I could afford on these
last few upgrades and it will be months before I can afford to go back into
the
engine like that again so the car may sit for months. Will all of the oil
from
the cams go through to the cylinders? Will this hurt anything? I'm so bummed
right now I can't talk about it anymore. I am still going to Mid Ohio but
will
be driving my wife's car and won't be driving on the track so maybe I'll
just
go to an amusement park or something.
