[s-cars] stereo doesn't require security code..

I went ahead and input the code anyways to see what would happen.  It didn't
fix the CD player, but my red LED on the head unit blinks now!  woo-hoo!
The more the lights the merrier.

I did take apart my changer and found that it has no problem locating the
correct CD, removing it from the mag, and loading it for play.  That's where
all motion stops, though.  The disc never spins.  Perhaps the electric motor
that spins the discs is out..

Maybe I should get that LED to stop blinking if I ever want someone to steal
mine.

My '97 as well as Stefan's '95 are the same way too.
Actually I like it better this way. I am not attached to the Bozo joke
for the factory Hi-Fi in my car in any way. If it ever gets stolen, I
would thank the bastard for riding me of it, collect the Comprehensive
payment and install the proper Alpine sys. :)
