[s-cars] Infrared won't work, tried re progamming to no avail

I bought brand new batteries for both keys and they are in the right positi=
on. I tried the procedure described in the owner's manual to get the keys t=
o work again but nothing happens, I even tried the whole key in the ignitio=
n thing and nothing still, I think I got the car to lock once or twice whil=
e I was trying to reprogram but that's about it. Do any of you have problem=
s getting your transmitters to work? Any solutions?
