[s-cars] Infrared won't work, tried re progamming to no avail

The only time I had a similar problem when was the car was in a parking
garage under florescent lights. Florescent lights blind the IR receivers and
the IR system will not work. Have you been trying this in a garage with
florescent lighting?

I bought brand new batteries for both keys and they are in the right
position. I tried the procedure described in the owner's manual to get the
keys to work again but nothing happens, I even tried the whole key in the
ignition thing and nothing still, I think I got the car to lock once or
twice while I was trying to reprogram but that's about it. Do any of you
have problems getting your transmitters to work? Any solutions?
