I got a couple of tips about the everything iPod site.
 The FM transmitting system they offer is the same
kind of thing my 91 200 had for its CD changer per
factory.

I thought someone had hardwired an iPod into their car
but maybe not.

I mentioned what i was thinking to my wife who works
as an editor at MacWarehouse.  You'd think I would
have thought to look there wouldn't you.  Bit no I
didn't.

They offer a few other FM options and some are as
cheap as $29 for an FM adapter.  They also have some
that play through the cassette player.

Now between the FM and the Cassette wouldn't I get a
better frequency range through the Cassette than the
FM?  I think I would but it does mean another wire
dangling about.  Neither FM or Cassette will give me
the range the CD player has I bet but in a car with
noise will I notice?

Greg Amy (Bira brakes) has somehow hardwired some
other kind of MP3 player into his '00 S4tt. I'll have
to ask him what he did.
