[s-cars] Grabbing some power for a relay

Hi all knowing friends,
I am in the process of installing another HID kit as the first one I
tried did not fit very well.
This new kit came with a relay and im wondering if its necessary as most
kits don't seem to use them.
Where is the best place to find 12v to power this relay?
Easiest would be the battery jumper terminal near the firewall but not a
very clean solution.

Next trick will be to disable the idiot light but ill save that for a
later audi fest.
Gotta finish it today for a 10 hr trip across the northern Nevada desert
to Las Vegas this PM.  This is free range country; full of dangerous,
ignorant bovine.
