Forgot to mention this (limp mode/DTC) happened right after putting in new software + 3 BAR VMAP from a 2.5 BAR chip.  In fact I was running nose to nose with an E46 up to about 130 (before we came to our senses) on Tuesday w/ the intake + 2.5BAR + Stromung + 7A Cam. (Not that I endorse this sort of mischief)

We will see..but I highly doubt it...in fact new knock sensor going in today....then we can make judgment ;-)
