The change you reference is just the wiring changes that relocated the relay
starting in the '94 model year (7/93 start of production).
Unlike Europe, where it was an option, all US S-cars came with Servotronic.
The only C4 chassis car that did not have it was the base 100 in '92 and
possibly '93, but they only sold about 5 of those ;-). The base 100 (as
opposed to the 100S and 100CS) came with such non-luxury car features as
steel wheels, and manual control AC. Oh the horror.
