Best case -
Motronics needs to adapt after being disconnected (100 miles). Looses all the
adaptation values after the battery is disconnected for more than 30 seconds.

Worst case (unlikely) -
Bad connection that was inductive in nature and generated a voltage spike and
damaged the ECU or a component related the ignition.

Very broad range of possibilities.
