[s-cars] Learning ECU / aw, come on!

This has always been a trippy one for me, and I've never heard this about
Audis, but as far fetched as it seems there are ECU's that can adapt on the
fly and respond to what they experience. I know it's true of Subes from
people who've done Subaru-engine-into-Vanagon engine swaps. When they first
fire them up they tend to run funky, but over time (weeks) things smooth
out. Mmmm, fuzzy logic indeed....

That having been said my error codes have cleared and I'm now 4444. My
guess is the 4412 code was left over from when I was troubleshooting the POS
problem. I've now added a few cans of methanol, and the sputtering and
surging symptoms have diminished. Could it be the oldest of old - a bad
load of fuel? It's still not running like it knows how to make power; I'll
keep you posted if it learns how.
