Ron;

The rear driveshaft CV joint can be lubed without removing the driveshaft.
You remove the bolts securing the rear CV joint to the rear diff flange and
pull the stamped metal cover on the joint forward. You can repack the joint
from the front with CV grease, replace the cover and bolts, and be on your
way.

Dear all knowing:

Does anyone know a good wrench in the SE Pennsylvania or Western Jersey area
that has fixed the dried up rear joint in the drive shaft.  My mech. said
that it could not be lubed, but I have heard otherwise.
